Default Auto S/C car first impression

All right, I was doing good till 80miles with the break in period until....the devil named Kanundrum screamed in my ear (literally) PUSH HER PUSH HER COMMON IT WONT HURT DO IT DO IT DO IT so I did...bout 6 times in a row.

Aside from my sub not working anymore and a really freakkin annoying rattling noise near my left knee it's going all well so he pulls side to side with me and we decide to see who would prevail!

Him, the Devil: S/C manual stock with Bosch BVP 110
Her, Lead Foot: S/C auto stock with Bosch BVP 110

Trial 1: he stayed in 5th gear, ready to go on the mark of 3....BAM Aliantha wins wuhu!
Trial 2: he started from 4th gear to 5th, ready to go on the mark of 3....BAM Sappino wins

Now...keep in mind I got 30 pounds rims and an interior. He has 16 pounds rims and no interior seats.

Overall, after she ate a LOT of fuel.....I freakkin LOVED it.

Glad to hear you car is running well. So much for babying it though huh? LOL I'm gonna have the same problem when my turbo kit gets here though so we'll see how that goes. Hopefully I dont break anything.

Girl, your still hung up on the wheels??

You will not notice a huge night and day on swapping out semi-heavy wheels to light wheels... as opposed to adding forced induction and 40+hp.
Again, the unspring weight ONLY matters from a 0-whatever drag. It wont change your daily driving once your in motion (25mph-65mph) enough that youll ever feel it.

I went from stocks, to the TRD 18's, and they feel almost identical to me. In fact, they hook up and launch better due to superior tires as opposed to the yoko stocks. I would understand if the rubber compound was not to your liking..but thats not what your saying.

she will notice a difference in acceleration, not big, but enough to give u the edge in a race. If she goes from 30lb. 18s to 16-18lb. 17s with some sticky rubber, she will be saving some weight.

Update: Well after 2 days of me handling her a bit rough... I must say that I do not feel any difference at launch. HOWEVER, when pushing her from 50/60 mph to XXmph then the difference kicks in.

So yes, to the auto owners wondering if they should blow 2k on this I'd say go for it.

But only if this is a mod which you have been thinking of doing for a while. If you need to scrap the money and will have to forgo food for a while then no.

Drax - never

in my expirience i definatley notice a difference at launch and through the whole powerband.
rims make a big difference cause i test fit some 18x8 504s a while back and it dragged the whole thing like i couldnt beleive.
my 18"s are just about as light if not lighter then the stocks. i get better grip and go with my 18s though since the crappy potenzas suck. i gotta run these out so i can get better rubber on them stockers.

yea, a buddy of mine has some really sweet 504s and they are 18x8 and he wanted to test fit them with the TRD drop.

so i volunteered my car, and i dont notice much if any difference going from my stockers to my 18s. but when i ran around with the 504s, ! my was it a difference. i could definately tell that the weight of those things was taking power away with trying to get those things moving and keep them moving.

Glad to hear you like it! I couldn't resist the temptation to push her a bit right after the upgrade as well. IMO, the supercharger feels great. I have a manual, but honestly, the whole car just feels smoother. Change out that pulley for another extra push.
