where would we auto guys find the clutch packs? IPT? or companies like Clutch Competition?

thanks!
I wish I could help you find someone but there isn't a whole lot of aftermarket support for the auto transmission. I would contact IPT since they do valve body upgrades maybe they will be about to build some clutch packs and a better torque converter than stock. If they can't help call around to performance shops or any performance transmission places you know to see what they will be able to do.

Yes IPT has clutch pack available. If not them you can also try level 10. IPT usually has better prices though.

Yes, DynoJet's read roughly 10-15% higher. Realistically, you're at about 240, which seems to be the limit for the Auto trans. Even at 240, you're still higher than most of the auto's I've seen. They usually run 200-220.

I got just under 220 from the ptuning dyno at 7psi on the tnetics kit.that turbo is also bigger than the Zpi turbo. I would be a little disappointed by the numbers at thta psi but nice numbers anyway...reppin the auto

Hey guys sorry it took me so long to get these vid clips but I got them!!!

I got 4 clips this is my frist time doing this so hopefully they are all ok. Hopefully in the future I can get some better clips!!!

The first one Is a drive by shoot from a intersection

This second one is a shoot from inside the car.
That is from me starting out from a stop I pulled up at about 110mph

The third one is a shot inside the car at a 60mph roll I think i pulled up at about 100mph

The fourth one is a crappy burn out that I did I was in a rush there was a car coming up the road so I was in a hurry but o well just a little fun clip I guess.

Well there you have it like I said hopefully I can get some better clips in the future.

I envy you because you're doing what I can't right now, due to low funds.
Any plans on a Torque Converter Upgrade or Clutch Packs from IPT?
From what they've told me, with those, you would be able to hold 30% more power, so if the Stock Trans starts to slip at around 140whp or so, you would be safe around 300-310whp, and if you sent the Trans in for a COMPLETE Rebuild, they said it can hold an additional 70%, so looking at 400-410whp..
Keep reppin' the Auto's, that's all I do around my friends. Haha'.

No I think what I got is where I am going to stay and hopfully I shouldnt have any problems. I was thinking about the tourqe converter upgrade but I dont think im going to do it. Im pretty happy with what I got now. But who know mabey I will get the HP itch again and upgrade in the future.
The trans does ship going into the final gear which you can hear in the video so I may turn the psi down a pound or two.
Ya im trying too rep those Auto's!!!

I only get that slip when its shifting into the final gear. Usally when I am driving it I can keep my eye on the rpms and when it gets around 5k rpms I can lift just a bit and it shifts just fine without slipping. Like I said I just wasnt paying close enough attentien to the rpms.
With the valve body upgrade I dont have the problem shifing from 1st to 2nd anymore now its the 3rd to 4th is where it gives me a little bit of problems

Before anyone tries to rebuild their auto tranny for more power, please consider a manual swap first. This will save you lots of money in the long run.

save you money PFFT!!!! swaping your car to manual it will be more difficult and time consuming. changing your car to manual will cost around 3k or a little more just in parts. if lucky around 2k with labor. Just building the tranny would cost arolnd 1k or a little more but way less and time consuming on converting the car to manual.

Swapping to a Manual is ideal if your goal is 350-400whp Plus, but a 300whp Daily Driver is more than enough.
If I lived in the 'burbs I would've got a Manual, jeez.. I was close enough when I ordered the car, but it all came down to convienence in the end.
