hmm.. i spent about 3k to have the swap DONE fully and thats pulling the engine taking the turbo kit off, upgraded flywheel and clutch, shortshifter etc etc.. lol

and i spent 6 grand on a fully built auto tranny from levelten by the way. clearly he got his valve body done but his tranny is still slipping, it doesnt matter if the body is done, the slipping will get worse over time.

 

It'll get worse, yeah, but with a High Stall TC and the Clutch Packs, he'll be fine.

Yeah, I was thinking 261 at 13psi!? WTF?!?!

I'm at 225 with 5psi. I was at 8 but the tranny started slipping so I opted to lower the boost. I'm gonna beef up my tranny & see what it does later on, perhaps in the summer.

a bunch of crap with levelten went wrong. im not sure if it was the shop i was going through or leveltens fault or what but it was built for 350hp-400hp thats block. we pushed 15 lbs on it, at WOT when i hit redline it wouldnt shift basically, it sounded as if it was slipping and then would finally shift but the those was way louder than the stock tranny, guessing cuz it was stronger clutches trying to grip. i called, they said we needed to set the shiftpoints with a management, we got the ultimate, set the points and then it just got even more funky, at half throttle it would hold all the power and just GO but my rpms would just sit at like 5k the whole time.. how weird.. so i took it out called levelten, im sending it back to them this week to get checked out and fully redone free of charge, prob sell it on ebay or something lol.

Did you start off at a lower number? Or go straight to 15psi?
Cause I'm wondering if you did start lower, how it all functioned.
I've heard some nasty things about Level 10, they were the first company I started to bug for information.
350-400whp is mighty quick for an Auto.

Haha something i can relate too - the 2nd-3rd gear shift slips like omfg ____ - it just sits at 5k yet im going from 70-95 lol yea im gunna lay off this thing or ill be buying a new tranny soon lol

 

Hopefully in a year or so, I'll break the mold and be successful at boosting an auto that high, haha'.

Im going to go ahead and turn the the boost controller down untill I can run the car WOT through all the gears with no problems and see how it runs.
Wonder how much Ill have to turn it down? I try to get some vids of that I guess. But is there anything certain you want to see??

nice man! i would change out the wastegate though if you can afford it.. your gonna start having trouble with it holding boost and you dont want boost creep.. esp with an auto! Congrats.
