Auto tC turbo tranny upgrade

Auto tC turbo tranny upgrade
Ok, now we(because i am auto too) can quit askin when is this gonna happen, i don't know where to upgrade, how much is it gonna cost... I got the info here-
I just got off the phone with KB toys and they said that they do not specialize in automotive mechanics... So i called Level 10.
Level 10 said they specialize in automotive transmissions but do not specialize in toys... I said great, so here is the info-
They can build a tranny for any year AUTO tC to handle up to 500HP for-
A total tranny rebuild(not just valve body, the entire tranny) - $3,300
Torque converter - $600 A very hefty converter they also offer is just over $1,400 but they said they can probably custom build the $600 version to accomodate.
Anything under 500HP and this package will work fine.
They do offer smaller packages but was told if you plan to boost up to 350HP to get this package.
Their website is inaccurate in terms of Stage builds, you will have to call them and tell them your application as they build for your spec for better performance for you.
You can still use Toyota's factory oil as well if you want.
They are located in Hamburg, NJ and turn around time is 3-5days, generally 3-4.
They WILL need your transmission. They will discuss how everything works over the phone.
They also stated that the max safe limit for the Stock Auto Tranny is 210hp. Anything over that will pretty much begin the premature failure countdown. That could be 3+ years but just lettin you guys know.
And because this is custom, make sure you tell them everything you want it to be able to do. If you want it to shift faster, they'll do it for instance. And they also stated that for those who have to "let off the gas" for the tranny to shift up a gear from a stand still, that will be eliminated with this package as well.

Go visit www.ipttrans.com for more options. They do specialise in Toyota transmissions. They have a good and loyal following amongst Supra and Lexus owners running auto boxes. Their reputation and knowledge points me their way.
Just go ahead and tell them your tranny model # which is U241E designate (its the same for the Camry and RAV4). They will have the complete 411 on it and the low down on which area that requires changes to suit your tarmac tearin' needs
I will be heading their way soon....

ok, I haven't called them but i was on their site and they only make a shift kit for the auto for what they list.
Even if they do have packages for the U241-E, it's gonna be about the same price.
Their Torque Converter was only $100 cheaper and their tranny's ran between ~$2800-$3400.
I did notice that their higher end Torque Converter is $400 less, that's pretty good and they also offer manual shift kits for the auto for ~$600, that's awesome.
