Automatic SuperCharger Fit Kit - Released Dyno #s on pg 20
The TRD Supercharger Fit Kit for the Automatic tC will be released on Monday. We would like to recommend to any who are planning on buying the S/C do not tamper with the unit. (pulleys, nitros, etc.) It works great as it comes out of the box.

The HP gain is the same as the manual. That's why it took TRD so long to release the auto kit. They did not want the guys in the automatics to have less of a gain than the guys with the manuals.

Yeah they did something in the tuning for it to compensate for the some of the parasitic loss. Yes the extra re-flash will change the shift points. According to TRD it will perform the same as the manual.
The re-flash that comes with the kit has to be done and then another part has to be loaded into the ECU from the TIS computer at the dealership. Just want you guys to know that.

Yeah, I figured the tuning is holding back a good amount of power, and this really does prove it. If they can get the extra power to compensate for the tranny losses, that means the Manual application could be tuned to get at least that much more power. Not fair.
eh well. It is good that they actually planned for this and made them equal.

There isn't that much loss through the auto tranny or not as much as you may think. All they really did was change the shift points of the auto. But in do that is made the same power.

Well, I'm not sure what they did in the reflash, but I can tell you this. I own the automatic, and if I go outside right now and start driving and push it to the floor, my car will go to redline and shift every time. Granted, it slides into the next gear (which I hate) but it does go to redline.

Yes it will if you push it. Sorry I should have been more clear on the. What I was meaning is it's not going to hold every gear to redline under normal driving. If you pust the car it will hold the gear longer.
