RSX-S will need to be slightly modded to beat the SRT-4's i believe. supra's and evo..well i doubt that'll happen N/A.

doubt... or not ever happening without an engine swap? cobalt SS supercharged will be spanked by a supercharged tc... end of story...

that is to be proven when RS1 gets the dyno to his fans

I thought that the Cobalt SS Supercharged will usually be faster than the Supercharged tC because it has weight advantage and 10+ HP more than the Supercharged tC. I've never been in a Supercharged Manual tC to really compare it to the Supercharged Cobalt, but the Cobalt is a very fast dogg.

yea, btw, any news about getting the header wraped/coated?

if i was in your position I would be looking at that quick! dont wan that heat to screw up things just in case, but who knows you might be in the lucky group that are not haveing any problems at all.

You need a 5spd tC and 9.5lbs to be able to stick with a Cobalt SS/SC... I have one(SS/SC) and can prove it, if you'd like.

i just ordered DEI black wrap. 2"x50'. gonna wrap them as soon as they come in. believe me, i wanna get that done ASAP as well as anything else to prolong the life of my brand new s/c.

fab up a heat sheild or try putting the stock one back on.

or spend more and get them coated

yeah auto tc... no... things need to be equal! auto is slower than manual!

but ss/sc is rated at 200hp at the crank, while we are rated around 190 something at the wheels... the weight cannot be that big of a deal, can it?

what do they have at the floor though?

and weight is a big deal, get 2 people in a tC instead of one and there s def a noticeable decrease.

hmmm... i just see 2.0 vs a 2.4, and it seems like a clear victory for a tC, guess i will have to trust zer0 on this one...

Even if the Cobalt is faster (still debatable), its still a Chevy...enough said. Lets wait about 20 years and see which of the 2 is still driving on the road and has had the least amount of repairs done...the Toyota or the Chevy.

yeh i was lookin at places where i could mount a fabbed heat shield. an idea just came to mind..mayb i can use the heat shield that came with the s/c and cut it in half and use the top part..hmm. i'll go take a look.

yup, the s/c came with a different heat shield that would replace the stock heat shield on the header. the shaft would rub against the stock one so they had another one made.

SP2 still sounds exactly the same i believe..nice tone on streets, stock at constant speeds. however my car is more quiet then before because of the removal of the CAI..i miss how it roared . i'm planning to fabricate it so that it would fit again.
