I thought that the Cobalt SS Supercharged will usually be faster than the Supercharged tC because it has weight advantage and 10+ HP more than the Supercharged tC. I've never been in a Supercharged Manual tC to really compare it to the Supercharged Cobalt, but the Cobalt is a very fast dogg.

yea, btw, any news about getting the header wraped/coated?
if i was in your position I would be looking at that quick! dont wan that heat to screw up things just in case, but who knows you might be in the lucky group that are not haveing any problems at all.

yeah auto tc... no... things need to be equal! auto is slower than manual!
but ss/sc is rated at 200hp at the crank, while we are rated around 190 something at the wheels... the weight cannot be that big of a deal, can it?

Even if the Cobalt is faster (still debatable), its still a Chevy...enough said. Lets wait about 20 years and see which of the 2 is still driving on the road and has had the least amount of repairs done...the Toyota or the Chevy.

yup, the s/c came with a different heat shield that would replace the stock heat shield on the header. the shaft would rub against the stock one so they had another one made.
SP2 still sounds exactly the same i believe..nice tone on streets, stock at constant speeds. however my car is more quiet then before because of the removal of the CAI..i miss how it roared . i'm planning to fabricate it so that it would fit again.
