Oh man, that was on a dynojet as well. I'm glad somebody finally got it done and dynoed. You need to get about 5 grand together and come up here to KY and I'll help you get that badboy pimped out.

Honestly though I think you should pick up the spearco water/meth kit and take it to a good dyno shop and that should help a lot, Especially with spikes (even though your spikes go up instead of down?)

I would bet that with a midpipe to finish the exhaust and a 9lb pulley you'd be over 200 whp.

I'm dynoing mine Friday (1 week) along with getting the ultimate and injectors put on.

If you need any help with anything or any questions hit me up in a pm and I'll be glad to help you out.

sweet, i look forward to seeing ur results. after the dyno i thought about everyway to squeeze out extra horses. i'm tryin not to change the pulley. soo i gotta find time to cut my injen cai and try to install that..i want to do the midpipe but i dont want to have that change the exhaust note. then mayb injectors and ultimate. then try to go for a long time without modding to save up for that pwr intercooling system. i think im buying ultimate within the week.

If you did do a midpipe, the ultimate, and the intake I would guess you'd be in the 190-200 whp range. That's a rough estimate though. If I were you I wouldn't do injectors, the s/c ones will flow fine without a pulley upgrade and it will save you about $400.

If you'd be interested I'll probably be selling my midpipe here in about 3 or 4 weeks to get the s-pipe back draxas. It's 2.5 inch with two resonators in and I've got a cat at home I could send with it as well. If you're interested pm me and I'll keep you updated.

I just realized that i can spend about $600 and get around 20+ whp with the MMW header and s-pipe RATHER than spend $4,000 and gain only around 30+ whp!

30whp??

stock auto tC dynos at 127whp ~5whp

170 - 127 = 43WHP = 50BHP

^^what he said. i think tongman was getting 30+ because my previous dyno was 141 whp WITH i/h/e. tongman, you have to take into consideration that the s/c works with those mods, doesnt just tack on more power. for example, if i upgraded to the MMW header, it may just add only a total net of 10whp. get it?

im sorry your disappointed 05-rs1, i guess i should be too.
honestly I am neither happy or disappointed,
I am still doing it, i was in it for a reliable daily driver with some umph. i call 40hp some pretty good umph

and also something is itching the back of my head about that dyno graph....

but lets look at it this way:
think about how much is lost with the auto tranny, now look at what the dyno shows for an auto s/c and think about the numbers manuals are getting and figure the difference between the 2......

but then you do have a header?!

i think something was up with the dyno, and knowing how much the S/C heat soaks and how hot its been.....

meh, my head hurts, i'll have some stock numbers in the fall when its cooler, like 97 degrees.

yeh im was in it for the reliable daily driver with the umph too and that was the overall reason for me s/cing rather then turbo. and yeh i have the AW header..prolly contributes to much of the heatsoak too. i have my header wrap but i need some metal zip ties that wont melt on the header. i was considering upgrading to the MMW but i think i wont do that for now.

and yeh, the dyno is kinna weird..i'll try to work somethin out with jason for a re-dyno...the guy did make a total of 6 runs on my car, 5 being nonstop, the other he let it cool down for like 5 minutes.

Instead of doing the zip ties get you some good silicone and if you wrap it tight you can attach the wrap ends to the rest of the wrap with no problems and no ugly ties on it. I did it on mine and it worked perfect.
