haha sorry but someone had to do it . mayb i will revive them once i get re-dyno it or just get ultimate and tune it

dont think of me as the guy that ruined ur dreams..more like the guy that prolly saved you $3000 that you would've wanted to spend on turbo if you really wanted power.

No no no guys that is not a dyno from the auto. I am just trying to say that the Manual Supercharger can push out that many horses.

Did you notice that zoltis tQ is 176 on that manual and on 05's his was 180, and he has 18's on a 104 deg day.............the only way you can compare dyno sheets from anywhere is with a b4 and after runs in very close times on the same dyno and same car. Like the GSC intake test. not months and months after under different conditions. Heck i have seen a zpi stage 0 dyno at 203 with corrected dyno jet numbers! Then other people say they have gotten way more on theres by 15 to 20hp on there zero's. Dyno sheet numbers are not gospel.....they are a reference. That is why you baseline run then modify then run again. To compare the 2. your car maybe 5 hp down from the factory, 05 may only have been pushing 120hp on that day if his car was NA.

Ok...so Nemesis, do you think it was worth the money getting the Supercharger on the Auto?

well if you don't like what you see then go turbo. even the manual guys will tell you and i am gonna tell you now.

if you want high #s relatively quick go turbo.

the s/c is to new, unknown, unstable to really get high numbers from, unless your ready for a battle or lucky. granted turbos are the same way but its easier to fix because parts are readily available.

and listen to what -NEMESIS- is saying, you can't really compare these numbers with what you are posting, some stock S/C i have seen dont dyno that high. the smallest thing can change dyno #s a lot. thats why when tuning you have to do so many and work on it for so long.
and then the tCs ecu will override it after a week or two j/p

and no i dont thing this dyno is accurate, to many variables that could (or did) have gone wrong and affected it. i mean look at that graph!

if your so dissapointed at what it is then just forget about it and go turbo.
I still don't have a problem with it, so for me its still worth it.

^^ ur right. from a power hungry tc owner's point of view, it's not worth the money, esp. of you dont care for warranty. but from a more conservative, daily driver that wants more power that doesnt give up reliability, then this is what you want. plain and simple. there are those few s/c'd guys that just want somethin different from a turbo so i guess that's a third category.

yes the beloved third catagory who want to be pioneers in a place that does not want them and they couldn't give a ____.
arent they the greatest!

from what I can see tongman your more in the Turbo catagory,
like i was saying, I dont think you will be happy with the S/C unless your up for the battle. but hey i could be wrong, seeing as i don''t really know you

I guess I'm in that third category, lol

Don't worry too much about 05's numbers, we're getting him patched up with a midpipe

yeh it'd be somewhat difficult to install a header after the s/c is on. i dont think he was lookin into a header though..i not sure though, but he did express concern about the effects of the heat from the header onto the shaft of the s/c. plus it'd be great to see the numbers of a stock auto tc with the s/c.

The key to headers after the s/c is to get a gearwrench size 12 flexhead. It makes the bolt beside the alternator a breeze. I would recommend headers before the s/c though. Also there's been many threads about the shaft leak but I stand by my opinion that it's from bad installation of the allen bolts on the s/c. I've had 0 leaks from mine with headers, pulley, running CRAZY rich, and everything else you can think of that would be a heat issue.

it's been explained bro.......tons of different reasons could have made the number that low.
I think the super is totally worth the money. I left all my wanting to work and tinker on my car with my bug which is full custom 200hp drag animal. which is a great high 12 sec car and daily drivable. But i have to work on it all the time! Constantly monitor gauges and temp and jetting and fixing and checking valves., carbs and timing. But i am very happy with it and very proud of it

HAHA had to put a pic
I think the super for the money is the most complete forced induction kit on the market. Ecu upgrade included, BPV and injectors for 2900 bucks.
With the tC I wanted something that was quick, fun and practically maintnence free. It is my primary mode of transportation. Something where i can just wake up in the morning go to work and no worry is it going to start? Did the extra psi crack my ring lands? I didn't want to worry about ecu probs and a/f ratios and all that. Don't get me wrong i love changing this car to my taste but for the time being i want to just turn the key and drive. With out all the headaches of having a full custom set up. Been there done that with my other car.

^^^ wOrd! and nice bug too.

but no i am not looking for a header. if one does come along it would be much after the warrenty is finished.

and yea even thought it would be hard to do after the charger is installed I have plenty of resources to complete the job if needed. plenty of friends who enjoy working on cars and helping and a couple toyota techs with access to the dealership garages on the weekends.
