The stock bpv that comes wit hthe TRD s/c is a piece of crap. The spring inside is very weak. a bpv is supposed to leak boost. that is what they are desgined to do. The question is how much boost leak. An upgraded bpv like the one I have has a stiffer spring allowing less boost to leak. This gives the car better throttle response, because it holds boost longer. After upgrading my bpv, boost felt present at 3k rpm instead of 4k rpm

down pipes takes 15 minutes tops....deff worth it...down pipe is the most restrictive part of the car.

You can run a BOV on a S/C'd car. The only thing is that it doesn't really do much for the car. All it does is relieve the pressure off the S/C between shifts just like with a turbo. It's just not that bad with a S/C so it's not really needed unless you're running really high boost.

No one really knows for sure. A lot of guys who have changed their pulleys have some.......issues....and that's all i can say about that. Changing the BPV.......is what it is.

I never really thought about it like that. But I guess you could say that. I thought it was funny. I mean how often do you see a smiley with a du-rag & a Paul Wall grill. lol

very dissapointed in his post, im getting blue ***** over here! tell us the differerence? is the power like a really powerful intake or is it like "oh yea!"? do you feel torque steer because of the power? when does the supercharger become noticeable? does the shifting feel different? quicker? how does it feel between shifting, and going into the next gear? does it keep pulling like it wants to, or does it go through the motions more like it has to? thanks

you must also realize that the guy might not even know some of what you what from him.

also he is being overwehlmed here with everything going on and i can almost garantee that this website isn't on his high priority list.
