Lack of a catalytic converter causes it. He opted not to have one. Nothing an O2 sim could not fix.

It's called a downpipe with a Random Tech cat option. You have a choice of 3 downpipes you can choose from.

Our 'Legal Beaglel' recirc'd dump tube and Random Tech cat

Our 'Off Road Special' recirc'd dumpt tube and catless

or our 'Rebel' with open dump, and catless.


318tC opted for the Rebel. The crowd favorite.

Incorrect. All that it means is that he is throwing raw exhaust gas into the atmosphere instead of catalyized exhaust gas (run through a converter), which releases water, carbon dioxide, oxygen.....

I keep looking around and for some reason this kit seems to offer the best in terms of EVERYTHING! I think I'll opt for the "Rebel" kit.
