I mean mine spools up fine. I just use the intercooler sprayer if I want a little more power. But I just dont see the point in a turbo pluse nos, zex,ect on your motor unless its a race car. but yes u are right when i do spray it spools up real fast I get more low rang power.

its a 75 shot of zex. it real doesnt work the same as spraying it to ur intake I just made it have a good low end hp if u look at my dyno they are the same whp readings just when they sprayed the zex it rased more so I guess in a race it would help me of the line and 0 to 60. My first time boosted and first time using this system.

Actually, your doing the same thing. The real gains from an intercooler sprayer are made by your intake sucking up the nitrous that is being sprayed all over your engine bay. The cold intercooler only accounts for about 2-5hp unless your intercooler is heat soaked.

uhh..... the intercooler is just a cross flow HEX it doesn't suck up anything....

No, the nitrous flows through your intercooler and up into your engine bay where the intake sucks it up. If you moniter your A/F ratio you will notice it gets significantly leaner when you spray the intercooler.

Think of it this way, an intercooler is a heatsink. If it's already cold, spraying it will do nothing. Most turbo kits for this car come with oversized intercoolers that will not heat soak except on very long runs, and there's no need for the sprayer.

You can just have a nitrous jet sprayin into your engine bay and get the same gains.

I get what tcengel is saying, never knew it would effect it. Guess I never really thought about it either. Wouldn't it dissipate by time it gets up to the intake? Unless your intake is down by the front like a cold air intake but most turbos are like short ram intakes.

oh i re-read it. it should disapate and it shoudl get leaner you're throwing significantly colder air into the engine than you're tuned to (through cooling the intercooler) and i DOUBT that nos would get up to my intake up by my fender.

An intercooler spray bar, doesnt directly increase HP. it will allow you to run higher boost levels because of a cooler intake charge tho.

And ZERO nitrous is introduced into the intake, exhuast, air, etc, system with it. Its simpl;y sprayed onto the intercooler too coolt he air INSIDE of the intercooler.

There's plenty more articles out there if you search. It's a F&F mod, your better off spending your money on a larger intercooler core.
