balance shaft oil passage
Got a pm for a pic of the oil passage for the balance shaft so instead I thought id go ahead and post it up. Im sure there is a diy somplace on the subject but I know it can be hell to find stuff at times.
note: when plugged oil pressure will rise 5-10psi. Idle oil pressure tends to be in the 10's when engine is fully warm and taking pressure readings from the head. With the oil passage plugged I viewed 15-17psi oil pressure at idle, thats of course taking the reading from the head and using an aem oil pressure gauge.

They are also SUPER easy to take out. Crush did you delete yours and replace your crank pulley with the ATI Dampener. Also to tap the oil passage I used a M6x1 tap with a M6x1 12mm long set screw. The set screws can be found at Home Depot.

I did take mine out but my engine was balanced by scroogins machine shop here in Houston (even though they have a funky name I trust their work...lol). I did not add a dampener though I dont think its a bad idea to have one. Thats one of those things I wished I could have done (still can if I can manage to save some molla) but my build was kinda rushed along (I hate my HOA).
