Ball bearing question

Ball bearing question
I was reading this from Greddy's site and i think they are talking on a general basis rather than just their turbos but they say that if you choose to run a turbo that it is recommended to use an oil restricter...
Is it necessary for the Dezod kit...
Also, if using a ball bearing turbo, would the turbo system still benefit from having a turbo timer installed?

hehe, it's ironic that you replied because i am trying to research that Hydra EMS system. I've never heard of it except from your sig.
This thing doesn't have a lot of info from people using it i guess because it's so new.
Anyway, i have never heard of anyone else talking about a restricter with BB turbos so i gotta contact dezod again and see if their kit comes with one when you upgrade to a BB.

Hydra is VERY popular with the STI guys.
Check out www.elementtuning.com
I would never run a BB turbo without a restrictor.
