mine did fine but yeah the maf goes crazy when bov opens.. maf is one big enemy for piggyback too.. and make turbocharging a lil tricky..

never stalled.. not sure what you mean by stumbled but the only thing i noticed is the hiccups or sudden jerk while cruising and afrs goes like up to -- then back to normal.. but between shifts the afrs does goes from too rich to lean and then goes back. proper tuning should help the problem too

my car shuts off when i hit boost a little, sometime it does that, rpm would drop down close to zero an engine shut off, i dont know but people say it might be the extra air goin back to maf....you thnk tuner can adjust somethng to work around that

Recirculation will make the car run much smoother IMO. MAF and atmospheric BOV's are a battle unless you go standalone. Though I think Emanage Ultimate has a MAF delete (so I heard)

I was using an HKS BOV on my ZPI Stage 1.5 kit, and I had a lot of problems with stalling, throttle delay, etc.

I installed a Synapse Engineering Synchronic BOV and had 0 problems since. I didn't even tune with it. Just bolted it on, and all the problems went away.

I bought the HKS Flange and Anti-Stall kit. You can get the Synapse BOV at Prestigeracing.net

so what difference does that BOV from synapse engineering have, its still atmospheric right? i know they have an awesome wastegate but havent heard of their bov yet.. got vids to that? and what anti stall kit is that, what does it do? im pretty sure good tuning will fix stalling and maybe make it smoother but as nu era said, recircng will make it smoother but the better way is a standalone..and ptuning is also having a project with maf after bov and turbo that will help too.. curious to know about that MAF delete from the ultimate, havent heard anyone talk bout that

I'm at work, so I can't access Youtube, but basically, the Synapse BOV is piston driven rather than Diaphragm driven. It eliminates compressor surge, boost leak, and many other problems that come from using an Atmospheric BOV.

Here's a link to their videos. When I get home, I'll post a video of the video that made me try out the BOV.

does recircing the bov take away from the sound anyway?
