Default blow through/boost controller question! edit

correct me if im wrong but the pipe i placed them on is the cold side isnt it? because air exits turbo goes through intercooler comes out and goes into the tb? the pipes on this kit are fun house mirror too lol i hate it

Think of it like the hot air is before the intercooler "hot side" and the cold air is after the intercooler "cold side"

On my new set up i run bkow thur also but the bov it like 2 in away from the maf do u guys think that would be bad

yea thats what i meant to say lol the pipe i showed in the pic is after the intercoolr. no? i dont think hot airs going into the tb! lol

i have an external wastegate.
so option 3 is what id use correct.

did you check my link? the third one shows an external with two ports and both being used, so thats what i do? or can i just use the lower port and leave the top undone?

the top port is for an electronic boost controller. if ur usin manual than run it in line from the lower port to ur vac source.

I have done exactly what you are talking about and it worked perfect. Except I used a Fugita 2.75" MAF adapter. I did: TB-----Coupler(2.5"to2.75")----2.75"MAF-----Coupler(2.75"to2.5")-----then a little 2.5 piping and the BOV. Never had ANY issues with boost blowing it off. Used a few t-bolt clamps and was good to go. The only issue I ever had with couplers blowing off was right on the compressor side of the turbo (That lil sucker!!!! lol )

Already cut them to the point I can't get couplers on them. Lol
Found two hairline cracks on my mani, not sure if its worth all the effort welding them or to just get a new/used one.

Post pics Paul just welded up my old mani and he did a great job considering it was in the worst spot ever.

Ill def take pics but a new mani is 150$ and the one crazy welder in my area wanted to charge me 200+ for the welding of two HAIRLINE crack each about 2-3 inches long. And wanted 125$ to do two welds/weld my flange onto my charge pipe!

what mani are u running? i have a couple mani's layin around. i have a treadstone cast mani and i have a top mount mani that has a hairline crack on the wg flange. i can weld it up for u if ur interested.
