boost controller

boost controller
basicly i want to know if a boost controller is really needed. i plan on getting the dezod turbo kit for my 07 tc and i read that the wastegate comes pre set for 8.7psi. i want to know if i will require a boost controller for any reasons such as: tuning or achieving a safe range of power to be daily driven.
And if i do require it, i plan on getting a vaccum block so would i connect the controller to the block and then the wastegate to the controller or do i just connect the controller to the wastegat and i'm done?

If the spring is already set at 8.7psi then that is what it will be at plus or minus a few psi depending on elevation. But with a boost controller you can only turn up boost. So if you have a 8lb spring, the smallest psi you can achieve is 8lbs.
and controller to wastegate...done

8.7lbs is very safe for daily driving, but if you do want a smaller spring, Dezod carries an assorment of springs from 3psi all the way up to 20+:
