Have you tried dumping the wastegate to atmosphere. The issue may be an inefficiency in the way the wastegate dump is ported back into the downpipe. If there is a significant pressure build up at the point of merge the path of least resistance for the exhaust gas will become through the turbine as opposed to through the wastegate as it should be. Try dumping to atmosphere for a couple dyno pulls and see if it helps. If it does you need to route the wastegate return further down the exhaust path.

It is a TIAL 38mm and yes it is recirculated but so is anoter guy I know with a GT35r turbo running 12psi which is what I am trying to do. I changed the wastegate awhile ago I used to have a Tubonetics evolution here is a pic. It has a 60 trim compessor with a 3" exhaust all the way back.

There is a BOV you just cant see it. I have a HKS SSQ it is down below the battery I placed it like that so it would not stall not that it matters now because I have a AEM EMS that uses a MAP sensor I am going to change that pipe polish and relocate the BOV so you can see it.
