Default boost gauge not reading boost

So i have an AEM digital boost gauge and all of a sudden its not reading boost. I'm pretty sure it is not the boost gauge or the solenoid because i put in an analog one and it is not reading boost either (it'll read a little but it is still under vacuum when i know I'm supposed to be boosting). I am thinking of the vacuum lines so i bought myself a vacuum manifold to attach all of my lines to.

So my question is, could it be anything else that is affecting my boost gauge from reading anything?

where did you hookup the ground and power wire too?

Same thing is kinda happening to me, cause i had it switched up to my cig lighter and everytime you turn the key to the accesories-on-start position between the on and start there is a split second where the battery shuts off for a second so my boost gauge wouldnt recalibrate itself and would read boost but i dont even got the turbo on yet, so i had to turn the key to start but not turn it on yet and wait a few seconds then turn it on and then it read boost fine.

But sounds like you might not have a good ground or power? Are the sensors and plugs all plugged in tightly?

hmm would idling be the problem? my car isnt fully tuned, its running on a base map for now and as long as i stay under 4 lbs its fine. But the boost gauge has been working up for like a few months up till two days ago.

i wonder if its the power and ground... but the gauge does get power, but does it really need that much electricity for it to run correctly?

hmm... actually... now that i think about it.. when i pull the gauge off, and hook it back on after a day, it reads perfectly... for about a minute. then it gives me those dashes again where it cant read unless i punch the gas and hit boost, but when i do that the gauge still only reads in vacuum

So your boost gauge was working fine for a few months and now it just stopped working properly??

First off I would get a tune dude, driving around for months on just a basemap isn't such a good idea.

But I guess you should get your boost gauge working properly before you go in for a tune...

What have you done to the car recently before the gauge went out on you?

Where did you hook up to get a vacuum source?
