If I am still unhappy with the traction I will be buying 26x9x15 slicks.

ALSO! would you be interested in some rear skinny's I will give you a good deal on them?

Really? Don't take this the wrong way man, cause I know you can be a little quick on the Flame War trigger. This is just from my outside-looking-in observation so you can take a look at the advice or brush it aside, your choice.
What I'm seeing is you are going to the track, coming up short, and thinking the next mod is going to get you what you want. You keep tossing $$$ at the problem only to find out it still didn't solve it. You would be surprised at how much you will achieve if you would screw the bolt that's the most important....the one behind the wheel.
I was pushing 150hp at my local speedway, and passing 2010 Mustang GT's and even a Procharged Mustang GT. It wasn't because of horsepower obviously. Seat Time, Seat Time, Seat Time is the #1 contributor to fast times far and above any mod you can ever do. It's the highest return on investment.
Imo....you need Seat Time more than all other mods.

My rev limiter is at the stock setting because my car is an 07 with an 07 ecu. Throttle body closes at 6500. Need to install an 08 ecu to rev higher.
I will not be comparing autox to drag. At all.
From last track visit to the most recent one the only change I made was raceland rear coils. I did not expect to drop a full second off my time from this of course.
I agree with more seat time my short track could improve slightly. A lot? No.
But when I put the car in 2nd and the tires spin immediately to redline then put the car in 3rd and the tires spin immediately to redline that has nothing to do with the driver. The car must be modified to increase traction.
There are not a lot of tCs making 500 tq. I am doing a lot of testing and experimenting on my own.
Its easy to get 250 tq to the ground as im sure you know. 500 tq not so much as you can see in my videos.

Do you feather the throttle at that point, or are you bouncing revlimit for a little and then shift. Since you have an 07, you probably can't bounce the revlimit like other years. I bounce revlimit until I feel forward progress is no longer being made and then I shift. 07 closes the throttle plate so yea, you probably can't do that can you.

Go to Englishtown, the prep is good because it is a true NHRA track. You will need a fire jacket there tho (if you don't already have one).
I just thought of something else.... what pressure are you running in the slicks?

nothing helps more than seat time. last time i raced competitively i used the test and tune the day before to really get the car and my driving dialed in. went from running 12.5-6 @ 116, to running 11.7 @ 124 on race day. made a good 15-20 passes that weekend all together.
