I picked PTuning for my exhaust for the sound and looks. Got a bonus with it though, considering it's one of the best, if not the best exhausts for the car in both performance and quality :D.

aw...c'mon...didn't you see the I put there? That means I was joking...thing is, we all end up spending so much more on our cars then we plan on that every extra bit, be it $50 or $500, DOES matter, and like I said, my car runs perfectly fine the way it is, so why waste the down time, money and tuning costs on doing something that I don't need?

...what turbo kit do you have again...?

That's a great exhaust.

The difference between us though is that I rather spend $400 on a custom exhaust that will perform as well if not better and could care less if it's shiney.

The Audi guys wouldn't beleive me, but I got two (2) 3.0" DPs with a 3.0" full mandrel bent exhaust with large resonator and 3.0" Magnaflow muffler with a dual tip on my 2001 S4 for $750. It increased my hp by 30whp on the stock turbos... Everyone else paid $1200 for just the exhaust and $1000 for the DPs cuz they were shiney! YAY for shiney and expensive!!

I know you were kidding - that's why I did the lalala face.. and then I said "Seriously though"

I'm currently still torn on which "kit" I want or if I should go custom. But I guess since I currently don't have a turbo "kit" on my car it means I have no knowledge what-so-ever..

I don't care that it's shiny. By looks, I meant the tip. I HATE the grapefruit shooter tips that 99.5% of people have. The rest of the exhaust won't be seen (minus the stability bracket), so that's of no concern to me. I could have gone custom, but I just didn't feel like dealing with having to worry about things lining up, etc, plus PTuning is a very reputable company and I figured it would be best to help them by purchasing their product.

It'll make the car run much better.. and keep the turbo spooling between shifts.

But to each his own. I rather have a properly working system than an attention getting headache.
you make me want to slam my face against a brick wall

obviously you don't own a turbo with hardpipes. a BoV recirculated or not is loud as hell. garabaldy's BoV is louder then mine and his is recirculated. please keep your nooberdom out of my thread.

lol someone's really offended! Act your age, boy.. step it up a couple of years.

Everyone has opinions - if you don't like it, tough.. take it like a man.

Who cares what I say? If you find something valuable in it, great. If not, skip on to the next post or try and make an intelligent argument. But the attitude you throw is quite juvenile - but I think it's hilarious.
