When I installed my V-bands, I made sure the bolt portion was away from the road surface, so if I were to bottom out on anything it would scrap only flat surface. Was your V-band bolt the lowest point or did you hit hard enough to snap it apart?

Sure I can take care of that for you. The S-pipe section to the mid-pipe was most difficult for me. Glad my uncle was around as I had him come through the fender area to thread on and tighten up the nut, due to the angle I wanted the clamp at, while I held the two pieces together from underneath.

I do need to rotate my clamps on the fmic pipes as they are scratching at my splitter.

It's complete v-band right? If so, fitment must be 100%, otherwise it makes things get a lil tricky for sure.

Yeah 100%. I needed an extra set of hands on that S-to-mid section. The rest, I used my jack to prop up the second portion (I guess that would be essentially the same facet a shop would use that long stand to hold up exhaust as the car is on the lift). Pulled things together and then thread. Rotate where needed and then tighten. I was being particular I reckon....lol. Make sure those speed bumps clear...

is that why you put it on upside down?

not soon still a lot of work to be done. i need to pick up new IC piping and that is just an empty block so i am still needing internals. i will also have to get a new DP made since dezod doesnt use a 4 bolt yet and the dezod DP doesnt bolt up to the factory location so in turn it wouldnt bolt up to my ptuning exhaust.

Hey! To be fair, I got it from a seller and no instructions...lol. Glad I was incorrect though, cause I was dreading those speed bumps before. Yeah I saw the clamps can be bought individually. I just surf around on parts sites a lot, window shopping...lol PTuning, Dezod, TRD sparks....etc. A little harder to navigate around World Racing's site though, for parts viewing.

I have a PTuning 3" S-pipe for sale, not sure if you need that or not, just fyi. Guy had it bolted up to his Turbonetics kit. I thought the Dezod DP ran in typical stock location since all other exhaust have been used with it? Are you sure it's lined up properly?

i have the full exhaust. paul was saying the dezod DP was made to mate up to their S-pipe and it sits a little higher and a little off from stock. my current DP bolts up to the stock location so it fits my exhaust i'm just going to have to do a custom DP i think.

Our S-pipe bolts to the stock exhaust Jim. Anything that bolts to or replaces stock should fit just fine.

I always thought the DP also bolted to a stock S-Pipe location.

Either way, I'll grab those pics for you later today when I get home.

our downpipe mates exclusively to our s-pipe, which makes for mating to a stock exhaust.

I think you just need an adapter to go from 2.5" to 3" and you should be good. I think someone has done this before, that's why I was confused about the DP not matting to stock locations.

Does the PT exhaust mate to a stock S-pipe?
