It's just that, a possibility. The TSB is actually over 3 years old which is why I'm no longer covered. I didn't know about it because I didn't have any problems until an aftermarket ECU harness was added. I'll never know for sure since I won't be replacing my oem wiring harness just to test the theory. I just mentioned it as a FYI and possible cause of all the crk/cam sensor issues I had with the FIC and the AT shifting/CEL and rev-limiter problems I had with the X1 that all disappeared the moment their respective harnesses were removed.

Then again, I know of several auto XBs and 2AZ Corollas which all had similar problems with the FIC so who knows for sure.
