BOV or BPV? for TRD S/C

Or if you're looking for the sound, you can go for the Forge Hybrid SPLT-R...recircs most of the air, but also has an atmospheric portion that gives you a little "whoosh" sound...it's nothing major, but it's definitely more audible than a BPV.
If you're running the TRD reflash, your car needs that air recirced into the intake so that the ECU can meter out the proper A/F mix...

do a litte more research.
for upgraded bpv you can get a bosch 110 or forge 007
the bosch 110 is cheaper but someone told me that pretty much after one year you have to replace it.
the forge 007 is more expensive but it also comes with a tuning kit, meaning different colored springs that hold different boosts.
i am personally using the forge 007 w/ blue spring and 2 shims. others have used the red spring.
at WOT it does sound nice

ok first of all, the BOV is not bad for the supercharger and it alone does not make your car run lean. It's usually when coupled with the CAI where it makes your car run lean. And also the A/F ratios do not go "whacky". My A/F ratios stay pretty good according to my wideband gauge. But as they said, it does replace what would be a BPV. I have the HKS SSQV BOV and it sounds AND works great! I just recommend getting a piggyback (or standalone if you got the cash) instead of the reflash with a good dyno tune and you will be in great shape

there are a few others that work...
gfb hybrid = POS, leaks major boost, real loud though.
greddy rs = good at holding boost, some say it leaks but i havent experienced it, makes a woosh noise, not as loud as GFB but way more audible then the forge splitters ive heard on youtube
