When you let off the gas while still in gear, cruising, does the BOV stay open constantly venting? Or, Does is blow off and close?

you dont need to get into boost if you dont want to hear it
BOV don't serve a purpose other than to make teeny bopper girls giggle when you drive by... lol

BOV = teh lose

well that's a stupid statement. so lets get this straight, when you shift and the throttle valve closes where the hell do you think all the pressure goes. ohh yea lets backflow it through the compressor housing and back out the turbo and possibly cause damage over an extented period of time

a bov is needed and it's just not for the whoosh sound.. gotta relieve that pressure during a shift (when the thottle blade closes)

once again, the blind leading the blind around here

Let me make that clear, because you obviously didnt get my point... Atmospheric set-up are pointless. No duh, you need a BPV/BOV to prevent pressure from damaging a throttle plate when closed or having it "backflow" into the s/c or turbo...

I'm saying leave it routed back into your intake where it belongs.

Atmospheric = Bleading off into the atmosphere
Recirculated = Being re-routed back into the intake so air accounted for by M.A.S is still there.

Think before you speak much?

He's right, you don't need a BOV. You need a BPV.
