bov on a s/c?

Personally tried it out just for actual data. What was stated in the quoted article is absolutely true. On a S/C, you will want a BOV anyway as it is more effiecient. With an e-manage alternative, you can run a MAP sensor and tune off of it that will allow a BOV. The ECM can have its MAF voltage clamped but this will require an excellent dyno-tune. None of this is cheap to do or advantageous, exxcept for pshh. I have a TurboXS BPV and it runs fine and makes a audible blow off sound that some think is a small turbo setup.

What's nice about the two Hybrid BOVs I mention is it can be configured 3 different ways; recirc BPV, atmospheric BOV, or a 50/50 recirc and atmospheric. I figure I can try the 50/50 first and compare it to the straight recirc. If I decide to run a MAP sensor instead of the MAF, I can reconfigure the BOV. Who knows, I may eventually go with a turbo setup, but that won't be for a while.
