Default Brian Crower Cam issue

I have seen a recent post stating there is an issue with the BC cams, since I have these in my car I have contacted BC about the issue.

"It is corrected as a few sets left here with the dowel pins on the rear of the intake cam pushed in too far. It was a 2 minute fix as all that had to be done was tap the dowel pin out to the correct location."

Exact words from BC. I read a post about it but didn't remember seeing a response.

It's an easy fix if need be. No worries. We where one of the first to notice and solve this problem back several years ago.

BC cams fit all tC engines with the 2AZ-FE (tC 1). I spoke to BC and only a few cams left with this issue, they fixed it shortly have a few sets shipped out, from what I have been told there are only a few sets that shipped faulty. I am not sure if mine was one or not, but its a very easy fix.

Most not all vehicles can run with only a crank sensor or cam sensor if one is not working. You will definitely have a CEL and possibly degraded performance, there is a possibility for some vehicles that it will not run. I am not aware of the tC setup.
