Default Calling all supercharged Tc's!

Calling all supercharged tc's. I had recently installed a s/c on my car last weekend and was told I can make the BOV/BBV atmospheric "louder". So today I took off the re-circulation hose off and plugged up the bov inlet of the supercharger. Started the car, and immediately it didn't idle correctly and my AFR's were way rich from 10.1 and below. Put everything back to normal and it ran just fine. So can I not use a hks bbv to atmospheric? or am I missing a vacuum issue??

I had mine setup as atmospheric and it ran fine, only ran rich between shifts, which added a nice gunshot style backfire every now and then.

I've never tried fully atmospheric with my hybrid; only fully recirc and partial.

Did everything go ok with the ECU flash from Mountain State Toyota?

Not really! I wasted 1 hour there, come to find out they don't have the sim cards needed to flash the ECU. The service tech told me no more were produced after they discontinued the s/c. So I found a member on here selling a flashed ECU cheaper than what the dealer was going to charge. Car pulls good! but like you said even with the 9.5 pulley it only gets to 5 maybe 6 psi, not much but it gives the beast some pep!

well make sure you cap off the RECIRC tube (not the tube under boost), and check for vacuum/boost leaks. then report back.

I have the dual port as well, I had to tighten it down pretty far to get it to idle and not have the random die when throttle was removed while running hybrid mode. Once I got this dialed in I didn't like how my AFR was all over the place at partial throttle on the freeway where it would transition to atmo. I ended up putting it into full recirculation mode but will probably mess around with the hybrid mode again some more.

where do you live? you actually found a shop that tunes unichip? im currently on trd reflash tune and my unichip is sittin in my room just waiting for me to find a tuner. lol.
oh and my 07+ supercharger's pulley bolt seems to be locked with this flower shaped bolt. how do you remove that bolt? planning on just keeping the pulley stock to prolong supercharger life but you never know. i might go 9.5 lbs later on.

I have it tuned in Phoenix, AZ. Do some searching on here on how to remove the bolt, does take some work. If you live in AZ I do have a key to take it off the bolt.

btw i have a dayco 5070900 belt on right now. its effective length is 90 inches and it sits pretty tight around the pulleys. how much smaller is the 9.5 lb nst pulley? if its smaller by just a tad bit then maybe the belt i have on will do since its sitting kind tight right now?

You will need a new belt.
