Can i hit 450+/-??

piece together your own kit and get cusom fabbing done. if youre gonna build the block and head like that and want to make 450+, don't settle for the greddy components. You will need A LEAST a garret 30/20g. A dude on here i know locally had a fully built block, fic, i think 900cc inj. or something, a gt35r, and the tune to 22psi i think it was. and he was making around 450. So yes get a mani, external wasegate, and a gt35 with your built motor and a solid tune will net you those numbers. but as ace stated, with a 25g it should bolt up, and be capable of the numbers your looking for.
1000cc to keep it safe, bigger IC, bigger turbo!

With the 18 or 20G I will chime in and say no way. GT35R will though. I have a full kit (WAY nicer than the Greddy setup you have) that I'll be removing this month and selling. Getting rid of car so no more use for it but it's a solid kit, NO problems of any kind ever. You'll want to go external gate anyway for your HP goals and setup.

what do you think im doing?
Thanks for the info guys... as is right now, funds are running low, but hoping to get up and running at least with the 18g for now... gotta save up for the turbo upgrades then... thanks guys

Ditch everything Brian Crower, Dont knife edge the crank (no need to it doesnt run in a pool of oil), Pulley is a bad idea get a ATI super damper, Dezod return fuel system, New turbo setup all together (dezod Alpha series!!!).

I would stay away from any log-type cast manifolds for that wheel HP goal...Go External gate, larger turbo,QUALITY tubular mani. There are other factors too that will determine how much power you make. How much boost are you looking to run? What octane fuel do you plan to use?

you guys really don't think the greddy kit can hit 450whp at a high boost level?? I would put money on it! Crank that baby up to 30psi and let her rip. It will be way out side its efficiency range, but I bet it would hit the numbers hes looking for.
And the Red or Green turbo may "bolt up" to your manifold, but they wont fit in the car. The position of the 18g is just right for it... if you pull it out and throw an FP turbo it there.. its not gonna fit. I actually had the FP3065, and it was a bad ___ turbo! However.... you could pick up a journal bearing presicion turbo simalar to the Garrett GT35r for waaaay less $$$$.
Your on the right track bro... but i would honestly ditch the greddy kit, and piece together your own. That way, you get what you want and not a "kit".
