Honestly we could have a 100 page thread on turbocharging and everything still wouldn't be covered. If you have not read the book Maximum Boost written by Corkey Bell let me be the first to recommend it to you. read it once, when you are done read it a second time and take note of the equations he uses. After the second time you will have a MUCH greater understanding of turbochargers. Not being a d!ck here just being honest. Most turbo guys consider this book the bible on turbocharging.

its several hundred pages with diagrams, pictures, equations for calculating pressure ratio, injector requirements, manifold design, you name it. It really is the turbo bible. In the 8 years I've been playing with turbos and reading data on stuff there is not a single other book I have found that is as detailed and comprehensive. I'm not kidding when I tell you I have a copy in my nightstand, office desk at work, and office at home. I don't know how many times I've referenced that book.
