Can a supercharged tC hold up to road racing/hot lapping?
I want to take my car to the track, I also want to supercharge it, but I'm not sure if running lap after lap after lap in hot weather might be too much for a SC tC. Would installing a CAI, headers, and exhaust be a safer route?

I went autocrossing a lot and went through two of those things. Like I've said in the last, they may have failed from bad installs. You should know that TRD doesn't warranty the kit if you race it. Not that they would ever catch you.

i autoX a lot, and engine overheating is always an issue....most of the time in autoX, you only use 1st and 2nd gear very aggressively for a little over a minute....the tC has a pretty decent cooling system, as it tends to never overheat....theres a always a little trick i recommend that would only cost you 5+ bucks....redline "water wetter"....look it up on google and the website and watch the promo video and you'll be sold

difference between auto x and road racing is when road racing, you get to cool off your engine down the straights even tho you are red lining it every gear. water wetter, oil coolers, upsized radiator and vents should help evacuate some heat.
let me know when you plan on tracking your tC, i never see any tCs out at the track besides the ones i bring.
