Default Can you get exhaust rasp with a turbo?

I'm picking up a zpi turbo kit tomorrow. I currently have a precision muffler magnaflow axle back. The guy also said he would sell me a zpi catback cheap. I was wondering how you think it would sound if i just used the zpi midpipe with my current axleback??

my suggestion with any turbo set up, to get the full benefit with running boost, go custom. the cat back systems you get are mostly beneficial to NA applications, large diameter piping and a high flow catalytic converter, and "turbo friendly" type muffler would work in your advantage.

if your axle back is a TRD, don't put the turbo on until you put something else a lot more high flow.

dont forget the turbo timer!

the only warranty that would be voided is only if its engine/powertrain related due to the turbo making the part fail. otherwise it will NOT void the warranty.

i warranty my work on my car, if i'm not happy with the results, i fix it. I didn't like the way I ran my oil return line so i reran it with a custom oil line. Found out that my old oil line was leaking because it was sitting on the downpipe and could have caused more damage. But i'm still happy with it nonetheless.
