I wonder if my maf is dirty and causing it to be such a biznatch. i looked up that code p0171 and it made that suggestion. kinda makes sense, i cleaned my filter recently and may have used a bit too much oil on the filter. idk but ill try that

Not at all. On the highway, it has minimal drone and it's not really all that loud in general.

The system lean code is from the O2 map on my tune. It's always reading 1V, so it thinks it's always running lean. Then after so many cycles, it realizes that it's stuck at 1V, so it throws the P29**, which is O2 sensor stuck lean.

No idea, it might have to do with that CAM thing. I'm running the newest firmware and software on the newest F/IC unit, so it just might be something with agreement issues.

I got my boost controller to work!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

12psi feels dammmmmm gooooooooddddddddddddd.

I'm gonna see if I can get a baseline run tomorrow.

After that, maybe some dyno time on wednesday, so I can clean up the light cruise, and high load areas.

AFR in boost (12psi) is 12-12.5 right now.

RAWR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm so happy. I might cry, muahhahahahhaha!

The problem wasn't even my apexi wiring I had done almost a year ago.

It was the freaking diaphragm in the wastegate. It was pinched, melted, and torn, horibblyyyyyyy.

I put in a used spare I had, in much better condition. Until my new one arrives next week. Tested the boost controller, and works like a charm.

What kind of AFR are you guys running at 10-12psi of boost????

I think 12.5 might be a little to lean for my taste >.<

Opinions??

Yea. I like to sit around 11.5-12 non higher.. But If you have meth injection I think 12.5afr is your friend..

I'm having that issue on my Unichip tune. 10psi is close to 12.5. Too lean for my tastes.

thats on your built motor already and meth injectors? if so I would shoot for 12 afrs.. on stock motor with no meth stay at 11,5, youre in FL that can see 70s weather even on winter lol, those guys on cold weather are safer from detonation so they can go like low 12s on winter. And where is your ignition at from 8-12 psi?

you can go 12 on low rpms 2.5 to 3.5k then make it sweep to 11.5 afr

And get a laptop already and do unlimited street tuning!

ummmmm i think i found my problem......

doughnut gasket, go figure

when i installed i just sort of riged the stock one to work which did fine until i turned up the boost and in turn makes the engine rock back and forth even harder. so sometimes it would seal while other times it wouldnt. I got a new 2.5" gasket and coated it with copper hightemp rtv. I hope this fixes it
