yeah red film on the section where you want it to turn red, it takes some time to get it right though.. or you can use red leds on certain section and block it so the red light wont go where you dont want them

Oh, reverse the LCD or keep the LCD white. Blue LCDs get really old, really fast. I regret doing my HVAC LCD blue.

The latter is damn near impossible and it creates bright/dull spots.

For the gauges, all white and use film to create multi-colored spots. The redline and temp are actually already red by default. They don't have the clear plastic, it's just red.

Ok.. Let me see if I'm following correctly jon. You used all white leds on that picture I quoted. You just added a blue colors film to get the blue tint.. And, yea I think white will be my choice, because Im doing the prosport premiums as well..

And, I just thought about how my boost and oil pressure gauge was blue and it got annoying. But, I would change em to White and it was much easier on the eye..

EDIT and to achieve the red redline and temp I dont have to change anything. Just leave it alone..?

When you take it apart, you'll see how it works .

Go with all white LEDs, that way if you decide to make changes down the road, you can just add film to the back of the gauge plates.

If I remember, I'll try to get an accurate shot of my gauges tonight.

Just real quick, for Mikescion.....at 0.8 - 0.85 Bar of boost, my injectors are like 65-78% duty cycle. Got a scare though, intercooler pipe popped and I though I was done for...damn I hate when that happens, feels like you blew something up.

Going to redo them this weekend. I'm swapping out the resistors to make the cluster brighter, so hopefully they'll match the Prosports a little better.

That looks really good. Im just do it like that. Im about to order the leds right now so I can do the swap soon as I get the car. I really dont like the led color of the 08 and 09s its too orange..

The LCD, not the buttons. I love the white/blue buttons. They're nice and visible during the day and look great at night. It's the screen that I hate. My odo, radio, and scanguage all have the normal LCD screen look, but my HVAC LCD is ALWAYS blue. during the day it makes the radio look like a giant piece of crap, when it's getting dark outside, it's 100x brighter than my radio and it looks like my radio is broken lol.

I'm **** about things matching, and I'm moving away from the white/blue theme to a white/black/red theme. My car is basically going to be PTuning inspired lol.

Ok... I may just go with all white. But then again it may be too much white.
