I would love to test out the Blitz.

The dual solenoid feature is enticing.

But I <3 the avcr tweakabilitiy.

I'll have to read up some more on the Blitz. It might be for the next car =D
How easy to use is the A'pexi? I basically want to run wastegate boost (assuming 0% Duty Cycle) and 10PSI. I like the sound of scramble boost too, adjust whenever.
Yea there is an option to turn off the solenoid from the apexi controller.

So just setting it to off, will allow you to just run WG boost.

The adjustability, of setting boost and duty cycle at different RPMS, is sick.

I also have the scramble button all wired up. I'm just waiting on the button to arrive, that I ordered ^^

As far as the learning curve. The manual kinda sucks. But as long as you understand the features and what they do. Its not to bad. But to get it dialed in right, is definitely trial and error.

My car accelerates like crazyyyyyyyyyy up to 3000-3500rpm. Compared to the settings I had it on before. Definitely took some time and tweaking though ^^

I just need to work on the tweaking the upper RPM range.

hmmm.... the blitz has a loooooot of extra features. Thus the extra pricing, lol. Oh and plus the extra solenoid.

The dual solenoid will keep boost spikes to a minumum.

But I don't really have that problem on the apexi. After I learned how to use it, lol.

If I were gonna go big. I would choose the World Racing EBC solenoid any day of the week.

As long as the spikes aren't extreme, then I don't mind them. I'm going to be running 5-10PSI, so hitting 11-12 won't hurt, I was running 12-13 for a while before and it did fine lol. Plus my boost gauge will start screaming at me if I go over 10PSI.

Not like that haha. I can play on 5PSI, but it's just too slow for my taste .

I miss having all that power. I seriously think I lost about 100hp by removing the boost controller.

have you re tuned for 5psi? cause if you have the same tune on there as you did for 12 psi, then thats why it feels so slow.

I couldn't imagine 5 PSI. I at one point went from 12 to 8, and I thought 8lbs was super slow.

I've made slight adjustments, but it was retarded rich at first. Plus I'm not actually tuned at all, so I doubt I'm making over 220 on 5PSI.

I'm still rich at 5PSI, usually in the mid 10's. At first it would misfire and sputter like crazy because it was just way too rich.

How about from 12PSI, 5Speed, Spring/Sways to bone stock Auto tC.

I basically went from 300whp to 130whp, lol.

Driving my sisters tC made me realize how pathetically slow the tC really is.

I don't mind driving my Moms Jeep, it's the only other vehicle I have access to that I don't mind driving. My sisters car is just way too slow and I feel ___ driving a such a sparkly car and my Dads Jetta is even slower than the tC.

im assuming you had some timing pulled at 12 psi. try putting a degree or two back in and see if that doesnt lean it out some. on a stock motor i would aim fro around 11.1-11.4 afr.

Sooo much better now. Afrs stay between 11-12, dip into the high 10s sometimes, but the car feels much faster now that it's leaner than before.

Either it IS faster, or I'm just getting used to 5psi.
