Clutch Squeeling noise + clutch death.
ok so i was driving casually pulling up to my shop and then i shift into 3rd and my clutch just made a loud screech and got super soft... when the car is idling it squeels and when i push the clutch in it squeels even LOUDER! is this the throw out bearing? the bearing comp clutch gave with the clutch seems a bit weak going out after 800 miles lol.. luiggi said the stock one is looked better when he was putting it in. atleast it went infront of the shop but god knows when there gonna get to my car.. is it driveable at all? not like i want to tho with this loud ___ squeel.

I wish you the best of luck my friend! Yet i know this isint disk failure but if ur pulling that tranny apart! id swap out that wimpy CC clutch!.
Hopefully you get this car running at this rate ud never make it outta south FLA

u sure its the TOB... its actually pretty strong compared to other ones ive seen. maybe the pins locking it were not installed correctly ad it shattered itself or came loose... if its the pins LMK i thin i have a spare set. I used the OEM pins on my set up.. the CC ones i have in storage.

its luck man.. ive been to numerous shops.. just plain bad luck.. anyway.. u think its the throw out bearing? what clutch u think would be good to handle 450whp and 450wtq? probably nothing more. not talking twin disc here cuz i dont have a grand to fork out..

u can use the ccstg 5 (ive never heard of ppl complaining about it or ACT has a very nice clutch that will handle that power also... i forgot the name but its their best one other then a twin disc..

Or stop wasting time and money get a twin.. Uve wasted alot more then 1400 so far..
Might as well end it and buy what you ultimatly need if ur racing..

i feel a clutch upgrade for myself before long....i just put in a stage 4 cc and am looking for around 350-400hp......twin disc time i guess.....son of a bia.....anywho as far as your problem.....no clue....you might try greasing the cable linkage on top of the tranny.

im staying with a sprung clutch, this is a daily driver...
we just tried to reverse my car onto the grass from the driveway.. the clutch got stuck and started roasting.. glazed the whole thing, smoke everywhere lol....

My CC Stg4 sprung works just fine.. not sure what you girls are crying about.
I would take the clutch apart and have it inspected by actual transmission professionals.
Take it to AAA Transmissions in Deerfield... they did my clutch and are excellent people to deal with.
