Default Clutch Wear with Supercharger

If I was going to get a supercharger with the NST pulley for the 9.5 boost how long will my stock clutch last?
Should I seriously consider getting a higher one?

stock clutch can hold around 240 lbs of torque i believe which you won't have with the s/c unless you are pushing 280whp +. It should be good

nevertheless, more power will mean excess wear and will cause the clutch to break down sooner than it would if the engine were stock.

close to 230 whp, not tq...clutches are rated by tq, not whp...I ran a clutchmasters stage 2 and it clamped perfectly fine...i was running the nst pulley, header back exhaust, lightweight crank pulley, amongst other things. If your gonna get the clutch, see what install on a LSD and flywheel would cost you. That was one thing I wish was out at the time that I had the s/c

i ran 267 tq, and the stock clutch handled it ok, if you didn't race it, but if you got on it, it would start to slip.....but for the s/c, i wouldn't think its necessary to upgrade your clutch quite yet.....i think with that hole setup with bigger pulley, intake, etc.....imo, you would net around 200ish tq max and 220ish whp.....

you should be good then. if you get up on it a lot in a little amount of time, you might notice some slip..

just let it cool down...

you should be fine! for the time being!

Weird question...
can you have the nst pulley installed after you get the supercharger installed easily?
