And there is nothing else you need to disconnect to prevent fuel from spraying everywhere?

Just pull em off the plugs and keep em away from ground. Should not have to worry about fuel. This information is from some of the guys that use to be on the site before it became just about completely useless for technical assistance.

idk, just asking since i don't remember reading that in the repair manual. how to do the compression test is in the manual. i remember them stating to unplug the coils and injector harnesses. i don't remember them stating to hold down the gas pedal, but i could be wrong. i'll check the repair manual later.

That's good to know. Where did you get the repair manual?

good vid, I did a compression test a few weeks ago and found my #2 cylinder was toast, i think my numbers were 180, 60, 180, 180.
after tearing it apart i found that i had cracked a ring landing on my #2 piston.

not sure what exactly caused it, i was only up to 7 psi when we first noticed powerloss, they car had been miss-shifted before but i thought that woulda took out a valve before a piston ring. either way its all almost back together and should be ready for boost again soon.
