Default Connecting AEM Wideband to AEM FIC?

I've been trying to figure out how to connect the Wideband to the FIC. I have the wires run correctly but when I go into the gauges, the Aux gauge doesn't show what the Wideband displays.

Is there some kinda voltage setting that needs to be changed?

i didnt write it out yet in that thread. it has been explained in that thread a couple of times but i never put it in the first post.

I assume you have a pnp harness correct?

well here is the wire you need to connect to on the fic

a front view with a staple marking the location

this is pin18 of the 22pin connector

if you harness doesnt have a wire there you will need to source a pin and wire

you can sometimes get lucky getting one by pulling em out of the universal (flying lead) harness
if not you will need to order up the pins and crimp your own, you can get the pins from allied electric

www.alliedelec.com

your looking for a molex micro-fit 3.0 female pin.

once you have done that and connected the wideband you will need to calibrate the fic with the wideband. you do this by bringing up the gauges while connected to the fic via laptop, right click on the wideband gauge and a box with values will come up. adjust the voltages on the left side of the box till your wideband matches what the fic gauge says.

I have all the wires run correctly, how would i make it work in the fic to display in the aux gauge? And also, im throwin a code for being too rich. Should i adjust the o2 map or fuel trim map?

may not have pin to pin contact. did you pull a wire from the universal harness and place it in the fic connector part of your pnp harness or was a wire already there?

as for the code your fuel trims are off too far, you will need to monitor them with a scangaugeII or something similar (that can read long term fuel trims and short term fuel trims). knowing your fuel trims will guide you to proper fueling in closed loop. if your ltft/stft is reading - then take some fuel away at that spot (rpm and load), if trims are + then add some fuel.
cause of the code you have - ltft/stft, this means your ecu is pulling fuel. btw when dealing with fuel trims we are talking about closed loop tuneing.

however first things first you need to find the proper o2 voltages. id start with 3.2volts accross the board on your o2 map. then play around with the fuel map to correct fuel trims.

there is sooooo much more to explain but this is the second time iv typed this, my laptop restarted in the middle of me typeing last time. freaking windows auto updates.

I believe the wire wa already there. I just spliced into it and soldered a wire inline. I run thru the connection again. I wasnt sure if there was something i had to set up thru the setup screen in the fic in the 12v dc area.

if your using the aem uego then you need to bring the aux wire to the white wire from the gauge.
