Default And It Continues....*Update Pg 1*

**edit**

Well I called my buddy last night, and we are going to be puttin it up on his trailor and takin the POS to his house to rip out the engine after the holidays.

So as for now, the car sits till after new years till she gets worked on

I'll keep everyone informed after then.

Till now... enjoy your boosted tC's.... I know I was till this crap happened. Now i wanna get rid of it

The Tc is a very up and down powerplant. Once you go F/I it seems to be hit or miss. But what can you expect with a family car motor right?

If you can actually hear a tapping sound going down the freeway it is most likley rod knock and not your top end... just my guess. How far between oil changes,,? If you saw oil in the engine bay do you have a leak and ran low on oil..?

I changed my oil every 2000 miles.

No oil leaks anywhere. Oil level was fine.

What does rod knock mean? What causes rod knock? Will the noise come and go or will it stay this way all the time till the engine granades?

I am well aware its an auto. I've test drove the 350 and the 250, its a very well balanced car IMHO. Also keep in mind. I'm 22 yrs old and looking to start a life with my girlfriend whom also has a car. Needless to say I may have found "the one" and i want to start building our life. IMHO, a place to stay (which I got), jobs (she has right now, not me im still searching) and RELIABLE CARS are good platforms to a good life

So its looking like a 350 for me, just gotta get this POS they call a tC (touring coupe) straightened out.

For now im going to enjoy my XL Brooklyn Pizza and Wings from Dominos and wash it down with Dr. Pepper and enjoy Monday Nigh Football and watch the NEW Halo 3 minute commercial
