It does NOT need to be balanced if you keep the OEM pistons and rods. Simply remove and plug the oil passage hole. I tapped it and put a 6MM bolt in there. You WILL notice a slight difference in vibrations. Especially if you have Energy Syspension motor mount inserts like I do

Is there a DIY anywhere... I checked the Tech section and I searched but couldnt find a DIY.. Im gonna do it this weekend with my friend and 2 brothers and a DIY, or description, pictures or something that would help would be greatly appreciated! :D Thanks for helping a nubcake like myself!

Have you taken the motor out the TC before bro, if so how hard was it and how long did it take ya... Ive done it on a 68 mustang which was cake and a 2000 gtp which was much harder and Ive never done it on the TC. I guess if im gonna do it, I might as well do it right!

Hell yeah im gonna rip that motor out the TC, if you guys say thats the best way to do it then thats how its gonna be done! The best way is the right way in my book. Ill take any pointers, tips or help I can get... This is Mr. Nubcake, Thanks! :D
