Wow that sounds like a great price. If this shaft and upgraded bearings solve the problem you may see more superchargers selling. I for one wouldnt mind getting one if it was a solid set-up. Hopefully this helps.

First prototype i got on monday was slightly off. Adjustments have been made and again because of New Year, I have to wait until Friday. Also got a hold of some bearings that are rated at 13500rpm. I have talked with every major bearing manufacturer in the USA and this type of Koyo bearing is the only one that will go up to 13500 without oil. So the bearings vortech supplied are 8000rpm no matter what anyone says, that type of bearing isn't made anywhere in the world above 8000rpm. The new bearings i found have smaller ***** and less friction and are WAY cheaper than ceramic. They will be included, pressed on, with the shaft when i have some available for sale.

been following this thread. glad to see progress is being made. so why is it beneficial to get the shaft assembly replaced?

and i have seen bearing speed specs higher than 13.5, although they were hybrid ceramic.
