We all thank you for taking a chance and investing into these shafts, without them there would be no more SC for us....

The scionlife community is great and I am glad i could help you guys out, so I should be the one thanking you! I know i would be flaming if my s/c broke this time around and there was not way to fix it. Especially, with s/c's being hard to come by lately, not many for sale.

Guys you will have your tracking numbers later tonight, sorry again for the delay, but its one thing after another, like why does the ups store close at 5:30pm on Wednesdays??? Also, I will also be emailing everyone some tips to read before installing your shaft.

Got mine yesterday as well. Thanks again.
Hey Gompka,
Are the bearings a sealed type? Was looking to do the grease fitting but if they are sealed the grease wont get into them?...

And wont the grease that you put inside move under neath the bearing possibly allowing the bearing to move inside the housing?

Yes they are sealed, the grease will liquefy enough and squeeze into the bearings, if you add the loctite he is providing you inside the bearing housing and the outer race of the bearings, they should never move, good luck and hope it works out for you.

Yup, exactly, the grease fitting is a must. As is the loctite!

Scionman, shoot me an email to gompka@tcsuperchargers.com and I will send you the install tips.

P.S. I got an order in today for a shaft from West Australia!

8 shafts left.

Yea, for some reason I had problems with FedEx this time around and 2 of the shafts had damaged packaging. To fix this I am now using screws to hold on the end caps along with lots of heavy duty clear packing tape.

If some of you notice flat spots on the shaft, that look like it was slightly sanded/ground, don't worry thats from the balancing. Its supposed to be like this.

Yea its weird, I don't know if there was something wrong with the tape or if the conveyers at FedEx are beating it up, any way that issue has been fixed, it would take a lot of effort to get this open now

7 shafts left guys!

mine had no cap on one side and the foam was almost completely out of the tube and not covering the shaft.

I tore mine apart tonight turns out my 07 actually had grease in the pulley side bearings. Not sure if that is normal or my tech who installed mine was just that good. My bearings weren't in bad shape at all and that is with almost 40k miles on it in Arizona so just from that grease in there makes a HUGE difference.

I also noted with all that I could tell the bearing races had spun some inside the housing, not so much to damage it but there were some spiral scratches so make sure you use that bearing loctite! I took some pictures of it and will post them later.
