Hey guys, I was out of town for a while, just catching up.

We are at (1) pre-order at the moment, was supposed to be (2) but looks like that didn't work out as I did not get any deposits from that person.

(1) - preorder.

My bearings crapped out again (I got about 5-6 months of life out of the old ones). I did have the grease fitting but- and this is the important part - you need to keep putting grease in the grease fitting.

I'm gonna try some Hybrid Ceramic Bearings in the Pulley Housing this time. With the lubrication from the grease fitting, I'm hoping it'll be better this time.

Wish me luck everyone.

there has got to be something else going on with your s/c for it to crap out this soon, i mean i got 3 years out of my original crap bearings without a gease fitting. something must be causing excessive wear.

BTW good luck i hope you get it figured out!

Go to my website and watch the videos, www.tcsuperchargers.com. You need loctite 680 when you put the shaft with the bearings back into the housing. You need a press to take the bearings off of the shaft and put the new ones on. You can put the shaft back into the housing without a press if you heat the housing and cool the shaft.

when my shaft bearings went out it also sounded like it was coming from the compressor housing, so you wont really know till you take it apart. have you put new shaft bearings on yet?

If its really concerning you driving around like that, just take off the shaft, install the stock belt back on and leave the blower in place, I've been driving around without the blower and the TRD tune for months now and so far so good, I did how ever install a cold air intake to feed more air into the engine, just as long as you drive it normal without pushing it to redline all the time you should be fine, of course this is just temporary til you rebuild the shaft and maybe the blower, depending on which needs it. Oh...when you take off the shaft you can spin the blower by hand, if it spins freely nice and easy its still good, if its hard to turn and makes weird, kinda like grinding noises them its time to replace the bearings in it too. The shaft ones you should replace period, but it may be a wild before these shafts become available, good luck and hope this helps.

*edit* so u have the blower on, but no shaft so it wont spin? or did u take of the blower completely kind of like stock?

-Wow I would have figured that it would throw a CEL or make you car run like horishly bad. that seems like a good idea till i can figure whats up. Anyways, yeah im just doingmy usual drivign habits, between 2-3k, pushing to 4k if i need some accel to get into a lane safely. probably mid sep i will have enough for the rebuild kit.

-oh here is the video

Nope....no CEL and car runs a bit rougher at idle if you leave the spark plugs that are in there now, you would have to get new ones and gap them to OEM specs. After listening to the vid sounds like the bearings in the blower, but the shaft ones may be bad as well.

try the new shaft or just new shaft bearings first, that sounds exactly like mine when it went out. i borrowed took my parents car for a few weeks and took mine apart (it would have taken alot less time but i had NO IDEA what i was doing). i found the shaft bearings were bad and my keys were badly worn, i ordered replacements online for really cheap and they still work. a few months later gompka's came in the mail but im waiting to install till i need it. btw it is rare that the blower bearings go out, mine are still fine (boosted since jan/2007)
