Although a full payment is appreciated and helps the group buy along, it is not required. If all you can put up right now is the $300 deposit. That will get you in.

I was told that the website PayPal button wasn't working. I was able to correct the problem, there is now a drop down menu with an option to pay in full or pay a deposit.

Thank you for all the payments so far , but we still have a ways to go to meet our goal of 10 preorders. Again, full payments are very much appreciated and they help things move along faster, however deposits are also being accepted.

Visit the website for information or to order, ordering made super simple via paypal button.

Please let your supercharged friends know about the group buy, i try to hit up a few other forums, but if you would like to spread the info to other forums feel free.

April 9th is the goal for getting the preorders in!

Awesome, I haven't visited this thread in awhile. Glad to see that a new batch is being made....if I can get another supercharger in time I'll try to get in on this group buy as well.

Question for you Gompka.....are the bearings that are included in your kit similar to these?:

Pulley side bearings are of the same quality, there isn't much you can do for the pulley side, the grease fitting is what saves you there.

Ok cool. The reason I ask is that I found a guy who has a leftover Supercharger kit that is brand new in the box and has never been opened.... I was thinking about getting everything (pulleys/bearings/shaft) upgraded from the start so that I never run into the problems that are now so infamous.

A NIB unit that is upgraded from the start is definitely the way to go, however I can't say you will "never" run into these problems. I can say that the chances will be greatly reduced, however i think the only way to keep it from every breaking is to constantly monitor and replace bearings.

Hey I bought a s/c with the updated shaft The guy i got it from said he got it from you.... Its got a grease fitting to. if the bearings ever fail do I have to buy a whole new shaft or just the bearings.

And how would I know if the bearings are not good no more with out taking it apart just driving or at idle the pulleys are fine they don't wiggle or anything. No oil leaks.

And also the blower side how can I tell with out taking anything apart.

Thanks

Wow Dave youre a good man. Still helping jilted SC owners by taking matters into your own hands. Redesigning the flawed shaft in a way it should have been produced in the first place. Ive since moved on (my tC was a lemon) but I love checking back in on my old stomping grounds. Keep up the good work man.

You can just the replace the bearings, pull your belt off and turn the pulley by hand, if the bearings feel gritty it needs some work.

About a week left and we don't have enough orders yet. Please help get the word out if you have heard of anyone who is in need of one of these. Wish i could make these to order, but we need to make a batch. Lets make it happen.

Looks like we will be extending the group buy period until we can get enough orders. Hopefully, it won't take too long because if it does I know some people will pull out of the group buy and we will end up back where we started. I'm trying to work something out with the shop to get the minimum order quantity lowered, but i can't promise anything.
