One of my customers just told me that vortech says they can no longer make the composite piece. Anyone had any luck with 928motorsports.com in getting this piece? Slightly off topic, but i would like to add this info to my site eventually.

hey everyone, if you bought a shaft from me and you have any comments as far as install, experience etc or something you wish was more clear while installing the shaft, please chime in and let me know. I'm thinking of doing a bit of an upgrade to the information on my site and thought it would be nice to add better instructions. Thanks

I'd like to thank everyone for their support and thank Scionlife and the mods for being supportive as well.

Most of our orders were coming from scionlife with a few here and there coming from people who found us through google etc. We have helped 78 people get back on the road and we don't think there is enough demand left to support another batch.

However, if there are still people here that need a shaft or if any of you want another one as a spare, I can do one last small batch. This would be a minimum of 5 orders and i would need the orders in by the end of November. The shop told me they can squeeze in a small batch for us around Christmas before the New Year.

Either way it goes, the website will stay up for everyone to use as a reference and i am working on redoing it a bit and adding more information.

What exactly is damaged? If the threads for the bolt are damaged you can try to get them re-tapped, if the surface of the shaft is damaged then there is no way to repair it.

FYI, i have 1 person committed to do the small batch, 4 more and i can get a few more shafts made. Really pushing to get all orders in before the end of November if possible so we can kick out this batch asap. No more batches planned in 2013 so now is the time if your planning on keeping your s/c for a while.

I have 2 orders with payment ready, i'd really like to get all 5 orders in before I start taking any money from anyone.

If you need a shaft please let me know now so that we can get production rolling on these. It will help me a lot (time wise) if the orders are in before the end of this month and it will also help anyone who wants a shaft because they will get done much sooner.

If you suspect you may have a problem with your shaft or you are hearing weird sounds coming from the pulley side of your s/c chances are you should get a new shaft because its already too late.

You won't know until you take your shaft out and check, you will have to do it anyway so do it and then that questions will be answered for you. Shouldnt' take more than an hour.

We have 4 orders in! We need just one more order to get this show on the road, i am having a conference call with the shop in the next few days to figure out the details and a lead time for everyone. We still have almost 2 weeks until the deadline, but the sooner the better. Thanks everyone.

I'm waiting to hear back from the shop, they are supposed to let me know this week about a date we can work on to get the batch going. I'll keep everyone updated. I should know something by the end of the week.
