Default Custom Turbo Kit: Doggy Style! **3/18/08 Dyno/Pics Inside!**

Just making fun of you TT and Dezod kit owners and your silly thread titles

Here is the rundown of my kit and the specs, along with what I paid:
-Turbo Kit - 800
-Custom Tubular Manifold (Stainless Steel)
-Custom Downpipe (stainless Steel)
-Turbosmart Pro-gate Wastegate (7 psi spring)
-Custom Wastegate Dump Tube
-Intercooler Piping (Aluminum W/Bead rolled edges)
- Jiffy-Tite Oil Feed
-Ebay Turbo (replaced)
-Intercooler
-4 ply couplers
-Wormgears and rusty bolts
-Garrett Turbo (T3/60 trim) - 350
-550 Pnp Injectors - 220
-Aem F/IC Piggy Back + Dezod PnP Harness - 270
-ATI Gauge Pod - 95
-Autometer Boost Gauge - 60
-Autometer Oil Pressure Gauge - 45
-Aem UEGO - 260
-Oil and Filter - 55
-Tapped Oil Pan - 35
- Dupli-Color Spray Paint - 15
-Gasket Maker - 20
-Oil Fittings - 10
-New Bolts/Nuts - 10
-O2 Sensor bungs/Welding - 40

Total= +/- 2285

This gives you an Idea of just how cheap you can Build an entire turbo kit if you just take your time and find great deals. I will get it tuned sometime next week at Chruch's Automotive Testing.

Future Upgrades:
-Clutch and Flywheel
-I will also be using the new Tsudo 3'' Exhaust as soon as we start production on it.

Problems/Need Your Help

So there is only one fitment issue, its a hardline, on the bottom right side of the engine bay. Here is a pic of the problem...

The intake pipe is hitting this hard line, but I have no idea what the hard line is or what it does. I don't mind taking the intake pipe out and "modifying" it. I just don't know if its worth banging up my pipe unless the Hard line is important.

Any help/comments are welcomed

EDIT** 3/18/08 Dyno Day

I got the car Towed to the tuners. My car was too low to fit on the lift so Bumper was removed

I'm only boosting 4 psi, and I made 240 HP, but they tuned it down to 222 due to it running lean towards the top end

Hopefully I can see some great numbers when I get my 3'' Exhaust and up the boost to 9 Psi

Videos!!!

You Can see the Honda next to me was having some Major problems

Nicely done. what type of engine management are you running?

If its not putting a whole lot of pressure on the hard line I wouldn't worry about it since it is a HARD line.

The MAF is on the side of the intake, i don't know if I have a good angle to see it

gotta love the "style" threads!
That kit looks SICK!

But how the hell did you get the AEM F/IC and the harness for just $270! I paid near $700 for mine!

Oh, and can you get a more top down photo of where the turbo is sitting? I can't follow that top polished pipe.

Hey, the first thing in your list says "Turbo Kit - $800"
What all did that consist of?
