I called Churches Today and my tune is on Tuesday at 4 P.M. WooHoo

I just don't know if my car will run with the 550 Injectors without a tune. Does anyone know if I can put the 550's in right now w/o a tune?

If you throw a base map on your F/IC, then it should run with the 550s as long as you stay out of boost.
I have 4 you can try if you don't have any.

Update On first post also

3/18/08 Dyno Day

I got the car Towed to the tuners. My car was too low to fit on the lift so Bumper was removed

I'm only boosting 4 psi, and I made 240 HP, but they tuned it down to 222 due to it running lean towards the top end

I'm currently on a completely stock exhaust, boosting only 4 PSI!! Hopefully I can see some great numbers when I get my 3'' Exhaust and up the boost to 7 Psi

They bumped it up to 7 PSI for the final run, but it tapered off to 5.5 PSI, and I made some pretty good TQ numbers

Thanks for looking everyone, Vid's are coming as soon as I get them on youtube

NICE NUMBERS!
Seems like most these custom kits make real good powe at low PSI.
What size is your Wastegate spring?

That's a lot man. I'm at 9.5 lbs and at 260WHP and 287WTQ. Wonder what made it so high for 4 psi.

I wish I knew, Shawn (the tuner) told me I would be lucky to break 200 with 4psi. He was honestly shocked, and said about 5 times how great of a kit I have haha

Earlier that day a guy got tuned at around 8-9 psi on a ZPI stage 1 and got 260 HP/TQ, and it was on the same dyno as me...

The guy who sold me the kit said he was boosting 8.5 PSI, but now im guessing he had some sort of boost controller

Bigger turbo, better flowing mani, better tune.

I made 252whp at 5psi, so it's not unheard of.
Not all turbo kits are built equally.

nice setup.
pretty much just swayed me from gettin a pre built kit to custom making my own.

definitely nice... but it isn't truly stealthy until it reflects incoming police radar away from the source gun
