Default custom turbo kit!!! update soon with dyno sheet.

ok so a while ago while i had my supercharger i bought a turbo kit i saw on a magazine for my TC from a place called emotorsusa.com. 800 shipped with a t3 TO4B turbo. ok long story short dont ever buy from them!!!!! i i bought the kit and it looks exactly like a ebay kit with no-name parts! i bought a bigger turbo cause the one they sent me look really cheap and small!!!!! looks smaller then a 16g turbo lol i tryed installing the wastegate and it was garbage then i put the manifold that fit fine and worked good then it didnt come wit ha dumptube and downpipe so had my friend custom make me one then the bov waas stalk my buddy had to take it apart and take out a spring it had in it cause that boot-leg greddy type rs blow off valve had a thin and thick spring in it. then the intercooler piping didnt match up i had to use 2 pipes from my hks cold air to make it work. then it didnt come with the maf sensor adaptor i had to use mines from my hks and it didnt come with no filtersor anything the oil line busted on me on the dyno and the fittings were wrong by the way whatelse? anyways so i went on and bought a 60-1 master power turbo and dynoed/tuned it last night and i got 290whp and 292 ft-lbs. and that was at the 30th run with the meth also. at 11psi. so overall i blew 800 bucks cause that kit was garbage!!!!! dont ever buy from them worse of all the guy said he cant give me a full refund on the parts that didnt work so he can give me partial refund which was 55 bucks for the wastegate and 55 bucks for the blow off and he cant give me any money back from the turbo i didnt even use . oh and another thing the intercooler piping is 2.5 and the idiots sent me a box filled with some 2.25 size hose clamps!!! so now i guess you can call me the the dummy! so if you wanna get a good turbo kit a well known kit or make your own parts and comes out good like mines did after modifying some parts and better oil lines and turbo! oh and another thing i could have gotten more power but since i still have the trd reflash the ECU everytime i get close to full boost it pulls 29 degrees of timing!and makes my car run rich to low and we couldnt fix that problem cause when he would add fuel or take out fuel the ECU kept changing the timing degrees. so i need to get a factory ecu but i dunno if i could do that swap out my reflash for another ecu. but overall i was please with what i got.

on 13 psi

do you have engine management or are you just running off the supercharger reflash?

you bought a turbokit for $800 bucks...the rest of the story is pretty much telegraphed from that point on.

cheap garbage parts, universal random piping, and lots of headaches.

i didnt intentionally buy the kit for the turbo i bought it for the random parts like oil lines, manifold, intercooler and the piping and the blow off valve but whatever thank god my boy knows alot about cars and fabrication!!!! and yes i got a emanage blue with 550cc injectors and pressure sensor and a boost controller. oh and by the way my fuel injectors are almost maxed out cause he had to add alot of fuel cause of the reflash timing. oh well now everyone knows about that company and ebay ____! oh the ony good thing tht came form this kit is the manifold and the intercooler oh and tehre customer service was good lol.

I don't think that's true. The only differences are piping pretty much. The manifold *May* have a small part in hp differences.. but mainly most HP difference would be in the tuning.

290/290 at 11psi is nothing to scoff at. You gotta remember we're in south florida - not anywhere north where its cooler and less humid. I would definitely be happy with 290whp.
