ive seen highest @ 60% duty cycle which is still not maxing it out.. i would agree with the above

if its the lance im thinking of from toyomoto then hes a great tuner.. i dont know why your having those small issues.
yeah its weird, and it was the lance from toyomoto, he said its the BOV and MAF, and i need to either get a synapse bov or recirc the HKS

I would say put the maf between in the BOV and the throttle body... I use this setup on every turbo tc Ive built and the car runs drives fine with out tune and doesnt stall out when coming out of boost... Also if you dont feel like goin thru that hassle you put that sensor in on the intake but make sure its in a 2.5 inch pipe, as the stock sensor is calibrated for the resonate frequency of the intake charge to occur in the center of a 2.5 inch pipe... Larger or smaller pipes cause the sensor to be outside determined metering area.

If you do decide to go the recirc route, you must make sure the the point where the bypassed air from the bov is sent back into the intake between the turbo and maf, or else you will be right back in the same boat.

O yeah almost forgot... U might want to check that bov and make sure its not openning unnecessarily.

quick little update

swapped the pep boys mega spectre air filter for a nice AEM dry air filter i found in my garage. With that huge air filter i had i was experience major rattling in the engine bay from it knocking around. The AEM has a much cleaner fit, matching the manifold, and, some may find it hard to believe weighs half as much as the bigger filter i was running, also theres no more rattling knocking going on in the engine bay.

heres a pic.

Instead of getting a new bov, you can recirculate the HKS.

Get the adapter, and get someone to weld a 1" or a 1.25" pipe in your take - the size depends on which size adapter you get for the HKS.

why a fuel pump? its good enough. unless you wanna boost more then your gonna need more then a fuel pump. you'll need bigger injectors and the fuel pump. but just work on the blow-off valve first then if you got money to spare get the fuel pump. i'm doing my turbo probably this thursday. got my turbo already its part number 940003-2177 here http://www.partsexpressonline.com/smlhpposter.pdf

Interesting choice.. MasterPower is pretty reliable.. I'm interested in seeing what a 60-1 with a .48 hotside will do.

The .48 hot side in my opinion is a little to small... In the past the .48 provides good torque but doesnt flow very well in high rpm/hp set ups... If you go with a 60-1, I would suggest a .63 or larger turbine.

lance did that whole cell phone thing on purpose why do you think it only took him 3 runs to tune your car and thats it lol. he has to prolong that hour lol! but either ay he did a good job except for that bov thing but i think its the 3 inch diameter pipe you have on your maf sensor. but anyways i'll text you on updates on my car when i start tomorrow night.
