So check out my progress on recirculating my HKS.

Heres a mini DIY

I started by ordering the hks recirculation fitting online...they are everywhere, as soon as i got the part in i drove over to NAPA and got myself a 1'' radiator hose.

You start off by removing the front cover of the BOV

You then change the air fin that comes in the BOV to the recirculation fitting.

now you can attach the hose to it

Now with the new fitting on the BOV cover you can now place the cover back onto the bov mounted on the charge pipe. Be careful with the screws they are tiny and love to fly out of the BOV I'm missing 1 out of the not sure maybe 8 haha hopfuly no leaks will occur but its on there ok.

Now with the hose attached to the BOV i have it set to be tapped into my intake inbetween the turbo and my MAF, but sitting closer to the turbo....this is still up in there air anyone think i should put it anywhere else? this method seems most reasonable. Heres a photo:

a close up as to where the hose will be tapped on the intake

i should be going in a couple of days to miami muffler for them to weld me a 1'' inlet. as for now im gona be driving around w/ the recirc fitting on, bov'in to the atmosphere (lame)

Nice... it should work out nicely. You may even consider making the tube shorter and plumbing it in right after the MAF.. but I think it'll work fine where it's pointing to now.

i thought about making it shorter and placing it closer to the maf but the pipe sits up at a slight angle....a flatter tap may flow better. im freaking out a bit though i just took the car for a drive w/ only the recirc fitting on and it feels like the car has a delay in getting to boost, and the car does not hit full boost....u think its because the recirc pipe is not on and the fitting makes the BOV release pressure in a different way?

No it sounds like your BOV might be leaking due to that missing screw.

If he like ths HKS SSQ, he needs to get a real one - one in which the adapter fits.

Any BOV will work just fine if you recirculate it.. including the Synapse.. although I find their BOV to be no better than anyone elses.
